Who Are You?

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1:13

One of Satan’s most successful means of disarming us is using our emotions and circumstances to cause us to forget who we really are.  Most of our decisions are based totally on forgetting that we have been given the gift of being God’s chosen child and heir.  Men of God act on that belief. In fact, every man acts on what he believes. Whether the belief is based on truth or a lie, it makes no difference. Our feelings promote our actions based on what we believe is true.

Truth is not perception. How often have we heard the opposite? In sales training we are told: people act on their perception of the truth and it’s the salesman’s skill that gives the client the perception of truth that will allow the sale to be made.

God’s man acts on the Holy Spirit’s truth, not his perception, but absolute and complete truth.  Jesus either came to earth as God incarnate or this is all a joke. He has either given us truth or he was a liar or delusional. If you are standing on a railroad track and a train is coming and you are confused in your mind as to whether it is a real train or a figment of your imagination, you are in trouble. All that to say this, unless you are convinced that Jesus is real and that He made himself known to man objectively by setting foot on this planet speaking truth not perception, Satan will play you like a fiddle. Satan, my friend, is selling perception.

Thank you Father for showing me your truth. The truth that you love me.
