But thanks be to God who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and who makes known through us the fragrance that consists of the knowledge of him in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14

Can you begin to imagine what it would be like to be the co-inventor of electricity, or of the person listed as the co-inventor of not only the computer but of Microsoft. It’s one thing to be associated with greatness but to be engaged proactively in building something great with God is unfathomable. This is a long way for the sinner to travel. The sinner’s dream is to be delivered from his sin. God takes the dream light years beyond that by electing to use the sinner as a vessel to pour out hope and salvation onto those around him. The phrase “through us” shows Jesus connected with us in a task. The emphasis, when placed on the “us,” carries with it that sense of disbelief that this man is allowed to do this great work. People say, “What? Who, him, with Him? Pure shock and awe.
We spread with Him everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. This is the genius of God’s plan: everywhere God’s Man goes, the message goes. Everywhere means everywhere. It doesn’t matter where you live, work, travel, or play, you have two jobs when people are present. If you are with Christians your desire is to edify them — to build them up and strengthen their faith in Christ. If you are with non Christians, your desire is to come up with some way to tell them about their heavenly Father that accepts and loves them unconditionally, sins and all. Wherever you go you partner with Christ and you reach out with the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Remember, God chose you to be his partner and co inventor of changed lives.

Is this awesome or what? God chose you to partner with Him. Every good thing you have done is because Christ chose you to be his partner. Wow.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Father — you chose me.
