Inclusion

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27 (MESSAGE BIBLE)

There was a time when you and I were not first family. God let us in; the Holy Spirit signed for us and marked us for first-class delivery to heaven.  We didn’t earn it or deserve it.  Such a man accepted graciously by God, should be the most accepting and inclusive man on the planet.  God wants us to remember that the kingdom of God is open for business to all who come in contact with it.  This is especially true for those who have been made us feel less than worthy or left out of God’s plan in any way.

Men can act according to their culture’s values or according to the values of the Holy Spirit in the character of Christ.  A tender warrior looks after those in his context who are unable to defend themselves or are vulnerable.  The men of the church are the sleeping giant who can, if untied, turn the tide of the world’s worst exploitation of women and children.  But they must stand up as one for the vulnerable.  This is Christ, the man of Pentecost, and this is a God’s Man full of the Holy Spirit.  We look after the vulnerable ones to prove our faith and say no to the culture’s exploitation, apathy, and neglect.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.  If anyone has material possessions and see his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?  Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. (I John 3:16-18). The Holy Spirit will call upon all God’s Men to sacrifice of themselves materially to make others feel the peace and security of being provided for by God.

Father thank you for including me and make me aware of others needs.
